In addition to the obvious graphical and performance upgrades enabled by the newer hardware, players can take their city-planning skills to the next level with up to 25 buildable tiles instead the 9 on PS4 and Xbox One versions. This new version of Cities: Skylines aims to let players create bigger and better metropolises than ever before. Now, developer Colossal Order and publisher Paradox Interview have announced Cities: Skylines Remastered, which improves the experience for console players in myriad ways. When the sim title arrived on consoles two years later, the less-intuitive controls didn't detract too much from the experience, enabling it to still deliver a terrific city-building experience. When the PC launched in 2015, it quickly became a fan-favorite release for those who felt let down by modern SimCity titles. This is the set up in my current city: The Post Sorting Facility is across the street from a Cargo Airport Hub as well as easy access to the highway and regularly receives deliveries of mail from the Cargo Airport Hub as pictured below.To many, Cities: Skylines is the premier city-building simulation. I’ll see if I can find any screenshots without the import overlay on. This one I had moved from by my cargo train station to here but it “broke” in the move so I had to demolish and rebuild it. It cuts the truck traffic going to the highway in half.
Best combo I’ve found for the Post Sorting Facility is something like what’s pictured below: near both highway access AND a cargo airport of some kind, if possible. Because it tends to send out what feels like 3 dozen trucks all at once, creating traffic jams that remind me of the garbage trucks at the start of the one Mass Transit scenario.
